Children’s Book Illustration
Thank you for checking out my books! I have spent my life loving the genre and magic of children’s books, and I am so excited to share these two with you. Both are illustrated in watercolor, and I did the design work as well. Wholesale inquiries please email me directly.
Over in the Meadow is a popular traditional rhyme that has been loved, celebrated, and sung many times since its original release in 1870.This rendition honors the love and wisdom mothers share with their young in a modern light. It is a celebration of all mothers, children, families, and our collective meadow, our great Mother Earth. It will be loved by all who read it for generations to come and an engaging children’s book.
This book is beautifully illustrated by Chandler Strange with an introduction by Celestia French. The illustrations are done in water color, depicting mother animals and their babies in their natural habitats. Over in the Meadow is both a counting rhyme and a folk song, introducing the numbers 1-10. The music and lyrics for the song are included within the book, as well as a glossary that allows young readers to learn about the animals.
Sal Everybody’s Pal is an engaging children’s book originally published in 2014. Sal is an older cat who has been at the shelter for a long time. Will he ever find his forever home? Find out in this sweet Children’s story, written by Diana Alvear and Illustrated by Chandler Strange.
